May 5: An extension of the very strong trend was witnessed for G12 grade coal (GCV of 3,701 and 4,000 Kcal/kg) on coaljunction in April 2015.
The entire offered quantity of 510,000 tons during April got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,546 per ton.
The entire offered quantity of 624,000 tons during the month of March got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,716 per ton.
In February too, strong demand was witnessed for this grade when the entire offered quantity of 11,24,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,642/ton.
