G13, G15, G16 grades not offered in April e-auction

May 5: There was no offering of G13 (GCV of 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg), G15 (GCV of 2,801 to 3,100 Kcal/kg) and G16 (GCV between 2,501 and 2,801 Kcal/kg) grades of coal on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in April 2015, according to data available with ICMW.

However, strong demand was witnessed for G13 grade in March on this platform as the entire offered quantity of 296,250 tons got allotted at weighted average price of Rs 1,663 per ton.

Fair demand was witnessed for G16 grade on coaljunction in March as out of the offered quantity of 40,000 tons, 34,080 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 914 per ton.
