New UserG16 grade attracts moderate demand in March e-auction

April 07: A small quantity of G16 grade (GCV between 2501 and 2801 Kcal/kg) was offered for sale through e-auction platform of coaljunction in March after a month’s gap.
Overall demand was moderate as nearly 85% or 34,080 tons of the offered quantity of 40,000 tons got allotted at weighted average price of Rs 914 per ton.
There was no offering of this grade of coal in February, but in January 2015, the entire offered quantity of 10,000 tons were allotted at weighted average of Rs. 742 per ton.
