February 5: A strong demand was witnessed for G16 grade coal (GCV range 2,501 and 2,800 Kcal/kg) in January 2015 on coaljunction’s e-auction platform as the entire offered quantity of 10,000 tons of coal, got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 742/ton.
However, during the previous month, no such coal was offered for allotment.
