October 10: Strong demand was witnessed for G16 grade coal (GCV range 2,501 and 2,800 Kcal/kg) in September 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 50,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 870/ton.
During the previous month, no such coal was offered for allotment on this platform.
