August 6: Strong demand was witnessed for G17 grade coal (GCV range 2,201 and 2,500 Kcal/kg) during July as the entire offered quantity of 50,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,690/ton.
