October 9: High demand was witnessed for G2 grade (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) of coal offered by CIL for allotment via e-auction on coaljunction as the entire offered quantity of 8,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,907 per ton.
However, during the previous month, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
