November 23: Poor demand was noticed for G4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in October 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 50,768 tons, only 12,830 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,128 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, very poor demand was noticed for G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in September 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,918,810 tons, only 2,850 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,066 per ton.
Meanwhile, poor demand was noticed for G4 grade offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in August 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 549,050 tons, only 22,190 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,220 per ton.
