August 5: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in July 2014 met with very good demand as out of 50,470 tons offered, 94% or 47,412 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,896/ton.
In June, this grade met with good demand on the same platform as out of 25,110 tons offered, 24,750 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 5,015/ton.
In May too, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction met with good demand as out of 118,328 tons offered, 98,445 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,006/ton.
