April 28: There was fair demand for G7 grade (GCV ranging from 5,201 to 5,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by subsidiaries of CIL for allotment through the MSTC platform during March 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 1,50,400 tons, 1,27,220 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,613 per ton.
Fair demand was witnessed for G7 grade offered through the same platform in February 2015 too as out of the offered quantity of 85,200 tons, 77,120 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,613 per ton.
There was moderate demand for G7 grade during January 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 57,000 tons, 37,200 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,634 per ton.
