New UserG7 grade attracts strong demand in Dec e-auction

January 29: There was a strong demand for G7 grade (GCV ranging from 5,201 to 5,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by subsidiaries of CIL for allotment through the MSTC platform during December 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 39,490 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,150 per ton.
There was a similar strong demand for this grade of coal during November 2014 as out of the offered quantity of 61,500 tons, 55,100 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,635 per ton.
A high demand for this grade was also observed in October as the entire offered quantity of 3,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,415 per ton.
