New UserG9 grade sees fair demand in December e-auction

January 30: A more or less fair demand was witnessed for the 223,300 tons of G9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through the MSTC platform in December 2014 as out of this entire offered quantity, 184,140 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,787 per ton.
On the other hand, high demand was witnessed for the 10,000 tons of G9 grade coal in November 2014 as the entire offered quantity got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,588 per ton.
However, no demand was witnessed for the 500 tons of this grade offered by CCL through the MSTC platform in October 2014.
