April 28: Fair demand was witnessed for the 180,000 tons of G9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through the MSTC platform in March 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity, 157,930 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,916 per ton.
However, moderate demand was witnessed for the 399,100 tons of G9 grade coal offered through the MSTC platform in February 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity of 3,99,100 tons, 194,570 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,140 per ton.
However, a more or less fair demand was witnessed for the 486,900 tons of G9 grade in January 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity, 335,910 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,133 per ton.
