August 6: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) offered on the coaljunction platform in July 2014 met with very strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 15,140 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,292/ton.
Meanwhile, this grade of coal offered on the coaljunction platform in June met with good demand as out of a total offered quantity of 437,100 tons, 374,720 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,464/ton.
In May, G9 grade coal offered on the coaljunction platform met with strong demand as out of a total offered quantity of 454,950 tons, 434,950 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,135/ton.
