July 30: Good demand was witnessed in June 2014 for G-10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by SECL, CCL and NCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 210,000 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 270,000 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 2,295 per ton.
Good demand was witnessed in May 2014 for this grade offered by SECL and CCL for allotment through the same platform as 243,360 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 270,000 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 2,253 per ton.
However, good demand was witnessed in April 2014 for G-10 grade coal offered by NCL, CCL and MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 140,000 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 160,000 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 1,954 per ton.
Similar to April, in March fair demand was witnessed for G-10 grade coal offered by CCL and MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 49,980 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 56,250 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 1,620 per ton.
