September 27: There was good demand for G11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal offered by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) for allotment through MSTC platform – in August 2013 as 143,870 got allotted from the offered quantity of 195000 tons.
However, in July, there was strong demand for G11 grade coal offered by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) for allotment as the entire offered quantity of 360,000 tons got allotted.
