November 26: For the first time in the current fiscal, 41 tons of gypsum was imported via Marmagoa Port during the month of October 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. A volume of 55 tons of gypsum had been imported last time via this port in January 2015.
Meanwhile, gypsum imports via this port stood at 41 tons during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, resulting in a dip of 6.82% in comparison to 44 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15.
However, there were no imports of gypsum via the port in October 2014.
