Gypsum imports via New Mangalore sharply fall in Aug

September 22: Imports of gypsum via New Mangalore Port stood at 54 tons during the month of August 2014 whereas during the previous month, imports of the material through the port stood at 56,100 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In August 2014, the entire material came in from Iran at a price of Rs 5,537 ($90) per ton whereas during the month of July, the entire material came in from Oman at a price of Rs 5,064 ($84) per ton.
