Gypsum imports via Paradip plunge 97% in July m-o-m

August 12: Gypsum imports through the port of Paradip nosedived 96.89% to a mere 2,223 tons in July 2014 against a level of 71,500 tons in June, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In July, a single consignment arrived from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,075 ($28) while in June, two consignments arrived from Oman at unit prices of Rs 1,451-Rs 1,452 ($24).
