HZL floats new tender for 0.2 mt of imported coal

July 22: Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), a Vedanta Group company, has floated a new notice inviting tender to procure 0.2 million tons (mt) of imported coal for loading laycan August-September, 2014.

HZL is looking to procure coal with GCV (ARB) of more than 5,700 Kcal/kg, TM of less than 12%, ash content of less than 25% and sulphur of less than 3.5%.

The discharge port would be Navlakhi on the west coast of India.

The last date for submission of bids is July 31, 2014.
