August 28: Out of the quantity of 9,510 tons of G-4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL and NEC for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in July 2014, 9,500 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 3,860 per ton.
However, during June, out of 54,550 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by ECL, CCL and SCL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC, 45,150 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 4,381 per ton.
On the other hand, in May, the entire quantity of 26,270 tons of G-4 grade offered by ECL and CCL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,671 per ton.
