Strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for G11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal as out of the entire quantity of 695,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 521,420 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,155 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similarly, strong demand was witnessed in December 2015 for G11 grade coal as out of the entire quantity of 465,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 293,640 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,158 per ton.
Likewise, very strong demand was witnessed in November 2015 for G11 grade coal as out of the entire offered quantity of 224,000 tons on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 184,300 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,170 per ton,.
