Strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) as the entire 390,000 tons offered by SECL and CCL for sale through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in January 2016, got allotted an average weighted price of Rs 1,296, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade in December 2015 as the entire volume of 300,000 tons offered by SECL for sale through coaljunction got allotted at an average weighted price of Rs 1,152.
Meanwhile, strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade in November 2015, as out of 600,000 tons offered by CCL and SECL on coaljunction, as much as 515,560 tons got allotted an average weighted price of Rs 1,323.
