September 2: There was high demand for G3 grade coal (GCV ranging between 6,400 Kcal/kg and 6,700 Kcal/kg) on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in August 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 15,400 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,002/ton.
However, there was moderate demand for G3 grade coal on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in July 2014 as 4,550 tons of the offered quantity of 8,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,516/ton.
On the other hand, similar to August, there was strong demand for this grade on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in June 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 1,500 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,481/ton.
