November 5: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with high demand on the coaljunction platform in October 2014 as out of the entire offered quantity of 87,570 tons, 87,200 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,319/ton.
G7 grade offered in September also met with high demand as the entire offered quantity of 4,915 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,808/ton.
However, G7 grade met with moderate demand on coaljunction in August 2014 as 54,530 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 63,760 tons. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,083/ton.
