January 30: A strong demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries during December 2014 as out of 73,880 tons offered, 73,520 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,072 per ton.
However, poor demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal during November 2014 as out of 34,420 tons offered, only 250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,979 per ton.
However, during October, no such coal was offered.
