India Cements’ standalone net loss at Rs 2.96 crore

August 7: India Cements Limited, one of the major cement manufacturers in India, reported a standalone net loss of Rs 2.96 crore in the April-June quarter of 2014-15 against a net profit of Rs 16.82 crore reported in the same quarter of 2013-14, the company said in a filing to the BSE on August 7.

The company’s standalone net loss narrowed compared to that in the last quarter of 2013-14. In the fourth quarter of 2013-14, the company’s net loss stood at 30.56 crore.

During the quarter under review, the company’s income from operations rose slightly to Rs 1,228.41 core against Rs 1,240.72 crore recorded in the same period of the last financial year.
