October 29: India’s coking coal production in September 2014 fell slightly to 4.23 million tons (mt) against 4.24 mt produced in the same month of 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

On a month-on-month basis, coking coal production in September fell by 3.86% from 4.40 mt in August, data revealed.

Production targets for the month of September 2014, as well as that for fiscal 2014-15, however, were not available.
