August 8: Indonesian coal prices softened a bit on August 7 on lack of demand from India and China but South African and Australian steam coal prices firmed up a bit on anticipation of higher demand, market sources said.
Coking coal prices too firmed up a bit along with metallurgical coke prices, which had fallen sharply during the past few days, they said.
