After a gap of one month, pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port resumed with 3,500 tons in January 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW. Incidentally, imports of this material via this port stood at 90,071 tons during November 2015.
For the first 10 months (April-January) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 398,383 tons against 380,754 tons imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).
However, 8,000 tons of pet coke had been imported via the port in January 2015.

In January 2016, entire quantity of 3,500 tons came from Kuwait at a unit price of Rs 14,110 ($210) per ton.
In December 2015, there were no imports of pet coke via this port.
