Jan spot allotment via other platform up 62% m-o-m

The total offering of coal through spot auction conducted by CIL subsidiaries during January 2016 on the MSTC platform stood at 8.01 million tons (mt), up 61.61% compared to 4.96 mt offered in December 2015, as per data available with ICMW.

There were no offerings in January 2016 under forward e-auction on this platform.

Out of the offered quantity through spot e-auction in January 2016, 4.55 mt was allotted, up 67.13% month-on-month from 2.72 mt allotted in December 2015.
