Kandla Port bags ‘Major Port Of The Year’ honour

September 9: Kandla Port was chosen as the ‘Major Port Of The Year, 2014’ by the India Sea Trade of South India at Kochi, the port said in a release.

“The award was chosen by a distinguished jury, headed by Mohandas, former Secretary, Ministry of Shipping. This award is a testimony that Kandla is well recognised and reckoned with as a global logistics hub in Asia,” the release said.
