The imports of met coke through Kandla Port stood at 7,000 tons in February 2016, more than double compared to 3,000 tons in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In February 2016, the entire consignment had come from China at a price range of Rs 8,760- Rs 8,860 ($128-$129).
In January 2016, the entire consignment came from China at a unit price of Rs 8,760 ($130).
