April 14: Imports of pet coke through Karaikal Port for March increased 24.25% to 105,534 tons against a volume of 84,937 tons imported in February, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In March, 50,597 tons came from the United States at a unit price of Rs 5,032 ($84) while details of the balance 54,937 were not available.
In February, 54,937 tons arrived from Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 4,150 ($66) while the balance 30,000 arrived from United States at a unit price of Rs 6,320 ($101).
