Imports of met coke via Krishnapatnam Port declined 12.68% month-on-month to 14,191 tons in February 2016 against a volume of 16,252 tons in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Incidentally, after a gap of five months, met coke imports resumed through Krishnapatnam Port in January 2016.
For the first 11 months (April-February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), met coke imports through the port stood at 105,841 tons while 71,249 tons had been imported in the same period of last fiscal.

In February, the entire quantity of 14,191 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 6,304 -Rs 8,636 ($91-$126) per ton.
In January, the entire quantity of 16,252 tons came from China too but at a price range of Rs 9,502 -Rs 9,537 ($139-$141) per ton.
