In an effort to educate the coal miners on the need to foster family harmony and avoid litigation, the authorities of the 21 incline (underground mine) of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have initiated a legal awareness campaign in Yellendu.

According to SCCL sources, the campaign has been launched to promote legal awareness among the coal miners to help them maintain family harmony and protect themselves from financial frauds.

The SCCL officials have formally launched the campaign by organising an awareness camp at the entrance of the 21 incline mine in the coal town on Saturday.

Yellendu Judicial Magistrate First Class Y Jaya Prasad addressed the coal miners and enlightened them on the significance of legal awareness.

21 incline General Manager Y Rajeshwara Reddy and others spoke.
