Imports of coking coal via Magdalla Port stood at 89,900 tons in December 2015, up 9.43% compared to 82,156 tons imported in November 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), coking coal imports via Magdalla Port stood at 691,783 tons while 166,472 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In December, the entire volume of 89,900 tons came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 5,679-Rs 6,103 ($85-$91) per ton.
In November, the entire volume of 82,156 tons came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,055-Rs 6,399 ($91-$98) per ton.
