Magdalla’s November coal handling jumps 78.22% m-o-m

December 28: Handling of coal (imported coal) by Magdalla Port stood at 754,037 tons in November 2015, showing a sharp spurt of 78.22% against 423,082 tons handled in October 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 3,977,288 tons, showing a rise of 1.97% from 3,900,402 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

Similarly, handling of coal by the port in November 2014 stood at 593,133 tons, which shows that handling was up 27.13% y-o-y.
