November 26: After one month gap, anthracite coal imports resumed via Marmagoa Port and were at 43,600 tons during the month of October 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. A volume of 35,400 tons of anthracite coal were imported last time via this port in August 2015.
Meanwhile, anthracite imports via this port stood at 105,970 tons during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, resulting in a sharp rise of 57.62% in comparison to 67,230 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15.
However, there were no imports of anthracite coal via the port in October 2014.

In October 2015, the total quantity came in from Russia at a price of Rs 5,569 ($84) per ton.
There were no imports of the material in September 2015
