April 14: A volume of 605 tons of metallurgical coke was imported via V O Chidambaranar Port (formerly Tuticorin Port) in March 2015 while there were no imports of the material in February 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
However there were imports of 219 tons in January 2015, according to the data.
In March 2015, the entire material came from China at a price range of Rs 21,780-Rs 22,286 ($346-$354) per ton.
In January 2015, the entire material came from China at a price of Rs 22,875 ($359) per ton whereas during December, the entire material also came from China at a price of Rs 22,829 ($358) per ton.
