December 16: PCI coal imports through the port of Marmagoa stood at 83,093 tons in November 2015, resulting in a rise of 51.60% in comparison to 54,812 tons imported during the previous month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
Meanwhile, PCI coal imports via this port stood at 212,976 tons during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, resulting in a decline of 17.19% compared to 257,186 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15.
However, 85,202 tons of PCI coal was imported via this port in November 2014.
