November 26: Pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 5,102 tons during the month of October 2015, resulting in a steep fall of 92.12% in comparison to 64,712 tons imported during the previous month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
Meanwhile, pet coke imports via this port stood at 304,812 tons during the first seven months (April-October) of 2015-16, resulting in a rise of 12.20% compared to 271,659 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15.
However, 66,261 tons of the material was imported via the port in October 2014.

In October 2015, the entire quantity of 5,102 tons came in from the China at a price of Rs 9,815 ($146) per ton.
In September 2015, the entire quantity of 64,712 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 9,275 - Rs 9,950 ($138-$148) per ton.
