August 6: There was fair demand for mixed grade coal in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during July 2014 as out of 33,225 tons offered, 27,830 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,804/ton.
A similar fair demand for mixed grade coal was witnessed in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during June 2014 as out of 214,950 tons offered, 179,300 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,860/ton.
Compared to June, very strong demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during May 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 125,550 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,981/ton.
