December 30: Moderate demand was witnessed in December 2014 for G10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through the MSTC platform as out of an offered quantity of 400,000 tons of coal, 321,810 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,805 per ton.
In fact, fair demand was witnessed in November 2014 for this grade as out of an offered quantity of 55,000 tons, 50,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,974 per ton.
Similar demand was witnessed in October for this grade as out of an offered quantity of 204,410 tons, 199,870 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,741 per ton.
