September 3: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with moderate demand on the coaljunction platform in August 2014 as 54,530 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 63,760 tons. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,083/ton.
However, G7 grade coal met with excellent demand on the coaljunction platform in July 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 12,770 got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,778/ton.
In June, this grade of coal met with good demand on the coaljunction platform as out of the 33,300 tons offered, 27,060 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,997/ton.
