Mormugao port cargo handling down 33.14% in FY14

April 10: Cargo handling by Mormugao port increased by 33.14% to 11.7 million tons (mt) in 2013-14 compared to 17.5 mt cargo handled in 2013-13, a senior official from the port told ICMW.

Of the total cargo, coal handling of the port increased by 13.63% to 7.5 mt in 2013-14 compared to 6.60 mt in 2012-13.
