March 31: Pet coke import through the port of Mundra were at 104,760 tons in February 2015, up almost nine-and-half times from 10,000 tons recorded in the previous month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
In February 2014, there were no imports of pet coke via the port.
Both in February 2015 and January 2015, the entire quantity had come from the US.
During the first 11 months (April-February) of 2014-15, total pet coke imports through the port stood at 339,701 tons against 114,791 tons recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
