February 25: The test synchronisation process of the first unit (500 MW) of the 1,000-MW power plant of NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL) was executed on February 18, NLC said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited is a joint venture of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) and Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) and is likely to commence power generation from this March.
