September 17: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) to develop a 1,000-MW solar power project, on September 16 in Hyderabad, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
The project will be implemented on a build-own-operate basis, the statement said.
The project is set to come up at a site identified by the state government in a phased manner.
