December 17: NTPC Ltd, on December 17, said it has signed an agreement for collaborative research on “Optimising resource use and reducing water footprints of electricity generation in India” with The Energy research Institute (TERI).
The agreement marks a remarkable initiative by the two organisations in the field of water use optimisation, the company said in a release.
The output of joint research will provide a way forward for the corporate sector to follow and play a responsible role in achieving water and energy security for the country.
